The Design was based on the film Punktefilm/Dot Film from 1998, which is part of the Video Retroperspective with Two Lightmachines (exhibition currently running at Mu.TEE in Ostend).

Twenty-four moving white dots on a black background clearly represent a dancing couple. The dots disappear one by one, until only one moving dot is left, but the dance seems to remain. The original visuals (without the dots that are switched off) were produced in the early 1970s by the Swedish psychologist Gunnar Johansson, who studied motion perception at Uppsala University. It's remarkable how you still see (or think you can see) the movements of the dancing couple, even though you only see a couple of white dots moving.
